What to know before you fill up at a Mirabito Convenience Store

Below, please find answers to some of the most frequently asked questions we hear from customers. If you need answers to any other questions, don’t hesitate to contact us directly. Someone will get back to you right away!

Where can I find the nearest gas station?
Visit our location finder, search Mirabito on your phone or download the Mirabito app to find the Mirabito Convenience Store that’s nearest you! Be sure to join our loyalty program to cash in on savings every time you visit!

Why is there a hold on my debit card after I pump fuel?
When you purchase fuel at a fuel station using a debit or credit card, your financial institution may place a hold on your funds to ensure that you have enough money for your transaction. Once you have completed your purchase, Mirabito only charges you the amount of your transaction. Mirabito does not set the duration of the hold and the funds can only be released by your financial institution once it has confirmed the transaction.

How is the amount of the hold determined?
The amount of the hold is determined by the maximum amount that can be charged in one transaction at the pump, but you are only charged for what you purchase. For instance, if the maximum transaction amount at the pump is $125, your financial institution will hold that $125 until your transaction is complete. Your financial institution will release the difference back to your account at its discretion — Mirabito cannot release the hold, nor do we hold your funds.

Who do I call if I suspect fraud?
If you suspect fraud on your card, please contact your financial institution. We are more than happy to assist by providing a transaction history, but we cannot alleviate any issues with your bank cards.
